After we sampled the apple pie, this is how we voted:

Our First Field Trip - Cinderella

We went on our first field trip to West High School to watch Cinderella! We had a blast and enjoyed singing the song with the mice!

We even decorated crowns to wear to the performance! We are royalty!

Our Favorite Apple

After sorting the apples by color, we did a taste test between the red (red delicious), green (granny smith), and red and yellow apples (variety - gala, fuji, etc.).
After taste testing the apples, we voted for our favorite apple!

Sorting River Rocks!

In our Pebbles, Sand, and Silt science kit, one of our activities was to sort river rocks! The students did such a good job working in pairs and sorted the rocks together!

Can you tell how they sorted their rocks?

Healthy Futures Message from Ms. Resheske

Hi Teachers,
If you could please let your students know that Healthy Futures will only
run for 3 months this year that would be greatly appreciated. The program
ran out of funding for more prizes. There will still be a name drawing for
$300 if a student completes 3 months and there will be a school prize of
$500 for the school who has the most participants. The box to drop the logs
in will be in the front of school next to the shelving unit that stores all
of the newsletters and flyers. I will give students a new activity log when
they turn one in.
Thanks for your help,

Kim Resheske
