Welcome to Kindergarten!!

Welcome to our class blog!  My name is Mrs. McConnell and this is my 7th year teaching at Kincaid Elementary in kindergarten.  Kindergarten is my favorite age to teach because students are so eager to learn new things and I love teaching them to read and write!

When I'm not at school teaching, I enjoy taking Latin dance classes and spending time with my family - especially with my one year old son!  It has been a joy spending my summers with him and watching him grow and learn every day.

I'm excited for a new school year and meet all of you!  I hope you are excited as well to be in school!  I have a lot of fun projects planned that I hope you will enjoy!  See you on the first day of school, Wednesday, Aug. 28th!
