Our First Day of Kindergarten

Our first day of Kindergarten began with a special presentation by Mr. Hanley and the PTA with the reading of "The Kissing Hand" followed by Tea and Tissues for the parents!

We went back to our classroom, said good-bye to our parents, and began our morning work with pattern blocks. There were a couple of tears but they didn't last long when we found out the neat things they could make out of pattern blocks!

Our *FIRST* Kindergarten Recess

Miss Yan made us our own Kissing Hand cookie for afternoon snack to go along with our story this morning read by our school principal!

Back-To-School!

It's almost time for your first day of Kindergarten! Are you excited? I know I am! I've already started to shop for school supplies!

I'm just getting started! :-) If you would like to see what your child will need for his or her first day of school, click here.

Please note that at Kincaid, we ask parents to bring in $20 to cover other classroom supplies not listed in the above link such as crayons, scissors, pencils, markers, etc. which are shared at centers and tables. This ensures consistency throughout our classroom.
